Category Manager Lingerie & Nightwear

As a Category Manager at the company located in Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad, your role involves developing and implementing category-wise assortment plans to ensure an optimal product mix. You will coordinate with vendors for product selection, ordering, and ensuring timely deliveries. Monitoring stock levels, identifying fast- and slow-moving items, and planning replenishments to maintain healthy inventory turnover will be a key part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement category-wise assortment plans. - Coordinate with vendors for product selection, ordering, and timely deliveries. - Monitor stock levels, identify fast- and slow-moving items, and plan replenishments. - Analyze sales trends and consumer behavior to optimize category performance. - Execute demand planning and forecasting to meet sales targets. - Prepare and maintain detailed MIS reports for sales, inventory, and overall category performance. - Manage auto purchase order (Auto Po) scheduling and monitor timely replenishments. - Collaborate with store teams to drive category-specific promotions and initiatives. - Identify assortment gaps and new opportunities within the lingerie and nightwear categories. Qualifications Required: - 3-6 years of experience in retail category management, merchandising, or planning. - Background in apparel, fashion, or FMCG retail is preferred. - Strong Excel and data analysis skills for inventory and sales planning. - Experience with ERP/POS systems such as Ginesys is an added advantage. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.,
