Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible and proactive Factory Floor Incharge to oversee day-to-day operations on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth production processes, enforce safety and quality standards, and manage the workforce to meet production targets efficiently. Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the factory floor. Ensure production plans are executed effectively to meet quality and delivery timelines. Allocate tasks to workers based on skill, availability, and priority. Monitor machine performance, maintenance schedules, and downtime. Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and safety on the shop floor. Train new workers and upskill existing staff as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety norms, and quality standards. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase productivity. Manage raw material inventory and ensure optimum utilization. Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and warehouse departments for smooth functioning. Prepare daily/weekly reports on production, manpower, and machine utilization. Required Skills:Strong leadership and team management skills. Practical knowledge of production processes, machinery, and shop floor operations. Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing or 5S practices (preferred). Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills. Knowledge of health & safety regulations.
