Allocate tasks to workers based on skill, availability, and priority. Monitor machine performance, maintenance schedules, and downtime. Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and safety on the shop floor. Train new workers and upskill existing staff as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety norms, and quality standards. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase productivity. Manage raw material inventory and ensure optimum utilization. Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and warehouse departments for smooth functioning. Prepare daily/weekly reports on production, manpower, and machine utilization.
