Factory Operations & Growth Manager About the Role We are looking for a responsible, smart, and highly organized individual who can take complete ownership of our factory’s day-to-day operations. This person will ensure smooth functioning across production, labour management, expenses, sales/purchase coordination, and overall growth of the manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should be proactive, analytical, disciplined, and capable of handling end-to-end factory responsibilities with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities 1. Daily Manufacturing & Production Management Monitor and report daily production count. Ensure all production targets are met with quality and efficiency. Plan production schedules and allocate resources effectively. Coordinate with stitching, cutting, QC, and packing teams. 2. Labour & Expense Tracking Track daily labour performance and per-piece cost. Maintain daily expense sheets (labour, materials, overheads). Optimize labour productivity and reduce wastage. 3. Operations Planning & Management Oversee overall factory workflow and ensure smooth operations. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions. Maintain discipline, time management, and accountability on the floor. Ensure safety, compliance, and proper usage of machinery. 4. Sales & Purchase Coordination Manage daily sales orders and dispatch planning. Track purchase requirements for fabric, trims, packaging, etc. Coordinate with vendors for timely raw material procurement. Maintain inventory levels and avoid stock-outs. 5. Scale & Growth Management Identify inefficiencies and build systems to improve productivity. Implement SOPs for production, QC, packing, and dispatch. Work closely with management to plan for scale and expansion. Analyse data daily/weekly and suggest improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications 2–5 years experience in factory operations/production management (preferably in apparel, textiles, or manufacturing). Strong leadership and team-handling skills. Excellent understanding of production planning and cost control. Good communication and coordination abilities. Proficiency in basic Excel/Google Sheets. Problem-solver with a growth mindset. Personality Traits Highly responsible and trustworthy. Strong ownership mindset. Disciplined and process-oriented. Ability to work under pressure and meet daily targets.
