Factory Manager

Role Overview: As a Factory Manager at SVSM Group's Open end Unit in Prassanna Spinning mills, located in Vedasandur, Dindigul, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of Recycled colour yarn and managing the spinning process. Your role will involve production management, quality control & compliance, cost management & financial performance, and other key responsibilities in the textile spinning mill sector. Key Responsibilities: - Production Planning and Scheduling: - Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines, considering resource availability and capacity. - Material Management: - Oversee the receipt, storage, and utilization of raw materials, ensuring their quality and timely availability. - Capacity Planning: - Assess and manage the production capacity of the mill to ensure efficient utilization of resources. - Production Monitoring: - Continuously monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency. - Quality Control & Compliance: - Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality yarn that meets customer specifications. - Safety and Compliance: - Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards to protect workers and prevent accidents. - ISO and other Standards: - Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems, such as ISO standards, to ensure compliance. - Cost Management & Financial Performance: - Develop and implement cost-saving measures to optimize production costs and improve profitability. - Inventory Management: - Optimize inventory levels to minimize storage costs and ensure timely availability of materials. - Other Responsibilities: - Communication and Reporting to GM: - Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and management. - Problem Solving: - Identify and address production issues promptly and effectively, working with cross-functional teams to find solutions. - Continuous Improvement: - Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and quality. Qualifications Required: - Sound Technical knowledge in Open end -Recycled colour yarn /spinning process - Min 5 years experience in handling a colour yarn manufacturing unit/textile spinning mill-production, quality control, maintenance, labour supervision - Overall market knowledge in handling dealers, clients, networking - Authoritative and flexible person to coordinate and work along with team, reporting to General Manager-OE - Willingness to relocate to Dindigul Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.,
