Facility Manager

Job Description

Oversee the operation and maintenance of office infrastructure, utilities, HVAC, electrical systems, security systems, and emergency protocols. Manage housekeeping, security, pantry, and administrative staff to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and facility systems. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards and compliance with local regulations. Coordinate with internal departments to plan office layout and seating arrangements based on business needs. Manage contracts and relationships with vendors, service providers, and external contractors. Handle facility-related budgeting, cost optimization, and procurement of supplies and equipment. Oversee office relocations, renovations, or expansions as needed. Monitor energy usage and implement sustainability initiatives. Ensure business continuity plans are in place, especially for emergencies such as power failures, fire, or security breaches. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree Minimum 10 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in the IT industry or similar work environments. Strong understanding of technical aspects such as HVAC, fire safety, electrical systems, and building management systems. Proven leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
