Job Description

The Facility Coordinator will oversee the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of all company facilities — including the retail stores, warehouse, and office premises. This role ensures that the physical environment supports business operations efficiently, aligns with brand standards, and delivers an excellent experience for both customers and employees. Key Responsibilities:1. Facility Operations & Maintenance Coordinate daily facility operations across retail stores, warehouse, and office. Supervise and schedule preventive maintenance for electrical systems, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and fixtures. Monitor cleanliness, display standards, and upkeep of showrooms and service areas to reflect the brand image. Ensure availability and functionality of essential utilities and infrastructure. 2. Vendor & Contractor Management Liaise with facility service providers — housekeeping, security, pest control, electrical, and repair vendors. Manage vendor contracts, negotiate terms, and monitor service quality. Coordinate installation and maintenance of retail fixtures, signage, and point-of-sale infrastructure. 3. Asset & Inventory Management Maintain an updated asset register of furniture, fixtures, and equipment at all facilities. Coordinate movement of display units, racks, lighting, and promotional materials between stores and warehouse. Track consumables (cleaning supplies, utilities, etc.) and ensure timely replenishment. 4. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with fire safety, waste management, and local municipal regulations. Conduct regular inspections for workplace safety and hygiene. Assist in safety drills and ensure first-aid, fire extinguishers, and emergency signage are in place. 5. Administration & Reporting Maintain maintenance logs, AMC records, and vendor documentation. Process facility-related invoices and track budget utilization. Report facility performance metrics and highlight improvement areas. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in facility coordination, preferably in retail, automotive, or lifestyle products. Understanding of retail layouts, visual merchandising infrastructure, and warehouse operations is an advantage. Proficient in MS Office and facility management tools. Strong coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
