Job Description

Role Overview: As the Manager - Facilities, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and improvements of the company's physical infrastructure and assets. Your role will involve ensuring that facilities are safe, functional, compliant, and cost-effective while meeting the organization's operational needs. You will lead a team of professionals and vendors to maintain optimal working conditions and manage projects related to upgrades or renovations. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and oversee daily facility operations, including building maintenance, safety, and security. - Ensure facilities are compliant with health, safety, and environmental standards. - Manage energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives. - Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules. - Coordinate with technicians and external vendors for repairs and servicing. - Respond promptly to maintenance and operational issues. - Prepare and manage the facilities budget. - Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and service providers. - Track and manage expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. - Lead and manage a team of facility staff and contractors. - Conduct regular training and performance evaluations. - Promote a culture of safety and collaboration. - Ensure facilities adhere to security protocols. - Develop and implement emergency response plans. - Conduct regular safety audits and drills. - Source, negotiate, and manage vendor and service contracts for cleaning, maintenance, and repairs. - Ensure vendors adhere to contractual agreements and quality standards. - Plan and manage space allocation and office layouts. - Oversee office moves, renovations, and upgrades. - Optimize the use of available space for operational efficiency. - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding building codes, health, and safety standards. - Implement and maintain workplace safety policies and procedures. - Plan and execute facility improvement projects, renovations, or expansions. - Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. - Maintain accurate records of facility assets and inventory. Qualification Required: - Preferably an engineering background in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical. - 15+ years of experience in facilities management in the IT industry.,
