Location: Sanjan, Gujarat Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 4 to 8 years in manufacturing Key Skills: Fabrication, MIG Welding, Welding Defects About The Role We are looking for an experienced Fabrication Lead to manage and improve fabrication processes on the shop floor. This role involves working closely with the production team to ensure high-quality output, solve welding-related issues, and implement process improvements. Key Responsibilities Set and monitor key process parameters to maintain performance Identify and fix issues in fabrication and welding processes Ensure quality standards are followed throughout production Support and guide welders to improve their skills Analyze current processes and suggest improvements Lead improvement projects and ensure timely completion Prepare reports and track project performance Ensure safety practices are followed in the work area Skills & Knowledge Required Hands-on experience with fabrication and welding (especially MIG welding) Ability to read and understand technical drawings Knowledge of welding standards and defect identification Familiar with Lean manufacturing and basic safety regulations Good problem-solving and team coordination skills Strong communication and planning abilities Performance Areas Following process standards Ensuring quality and safety Completing improvement projects Reducing defects and risks Success Will Be Measured By Number of improvement projects completed Quality of the output Number of safety issues reported Efficiency of the processes Skills: fabrication,welding,manufacturing,mig welding,mig,welding defects,welding standard Show more Show less
