In this role, you’ll lead fabric and trims sourcing for menswear production , ensuring high standards of quality , efficiency, and trend relevance. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of textiles, strong vendor relationships, and an eye for fashion that resonates with our brand and audience. Key Responsibilities: Fabric & Trims Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and procure high-quality menswear fabrics and trims, ensuring alignment with design specifications and production timelines. Production Oversight: Manage the full production cycle for garments, including sourcing embellishments like embroidery and printing where required. Product Buying: Source apparel products that reflect brand identity and meet customer expectations in quality, design, and pricing. Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous fabric and trim inspections to uphold quality standards, promptly addressing any issues. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory, replenish high-demand items, and manage slow-movers to maintain balanced stock levels. Vendor Relations: Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers, negotiating cost-effective pricing, lead times, and quality commitments. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier communications, pricing, and inventory. Pricing & Budgeting: Develop pricing strategies in line with market trends and company profit goals. Requirements: Experience: 3+ years in apparel sourcing or merchandising, preferably within a fashion or retail brand. Textile Knowledge: In-depth understanding of fabric types, qualities, textures, specifications, and practical applications in garment production. Negotiation & Vendor Management: Proven ability to build strong supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms. Attention to Detail: Precision in quality checks, stock management, and production coordination.
