Fabric Sourcing Manager

We are looking for the candidate who has the knowledge of Woven fabric, Handloom & Khadi fabric sourcing. Job Description for Manager 1. Support Design, Merchandising and Production teams on fabric developments, counter sourcing, production flow and delivery completion. 2. Analyse fabric developments for quality or testing related call outs and come up with proposals for improvement. 3. Benchmark fabric prices across mills to ensure fabric ordering at the best price for the right quality. 4. Collaborate with cross functional teams to review developments and bulk order status frequently. Ensure timely execution of developments and bulk delivery. 5. Ensure in-time closure on bulk quality issues by coordinating between internal teams and mills. 6. Support account/ finance team on settling any open transactions or settlements with suppliers. 7. Negotiate on payment terms with suppliers and have ideal closure on payment terms following company finance policy updates then and there. 8. Track the supplier performances on delivery, quality and service level. Periodically evaluate the supplier performance and review with the suppliers during meetings. 9. Identify new competitive supplier base based on new customer requirements and product categories. 10. Team member evaluation, skill development 11. Market news updates, material trends sharing, pre-alert on any special situation. Work Location: M/s.
