Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and proactive Fabric Sourcing Executive for our woven garment division. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of woven fabrics, vendor management, and strong communication skills. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality fabrics, maintaining cost efficiency, and ensuring timely delivery for production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop a reliable supplier base for woven fabrics (cotton, linen, blends, etc.)
• Collect swatches and approvals from vendors as per buyer requirements
• Negotiate prices, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and lead times
• Follow up on fabric order placement, status, and timely deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of sourcing, sampling, and costing
• Work closely with the merchandising and production teams for fabric planning
• Handle fabric test reports, certifications, and documentation
• Visit mills and vendors as required to strengthen supplier relationships

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualification: Graduate in Textile / Fashion / Garment-related field (Diploma or B.Tech in Textile/Fashion preferred)
• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years in fabric sourcing (woven segment)
• Strong understanding of fabric types, weaves, finishes, and market trends
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills (English & Tamil preferred)
• Proficiency in Excel, email communication, and basic ERP tools
• Ability to multitask and work in a deadline-driven environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
