Position: Export Manager / Export Executive

We are a dynamic company engaged in international trade, exporting high-quality goods to global markets. We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Export Manager/Executive to join our team and help expand our worldwide reach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the entire export process — from order receipt to dispatch and delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, freight forwarders, customs brokers to ensure timely shipments.
- Prepare and manage export documentation: Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, Bill of Lading, Customs paperwork, etc.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export laws, and customs requirements.
- Coordinate with sales/marketing teams for order processing, client communication, and delivery timelines.
- Track shipments and maintain accurate shipment records and export logs.
- Handle shipping schedules, freight bookings (sea/air/road), cost calculations, and negotiations with carriers.
- Monitor export costs, tariffs, duties, duties waiver applications, and maintain profit margins.
- Research and identify new international markets and potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas clients, agents, distributors, and partners.
- Resolve export-related issues (delays, documentation problems, customs clearance, logistics bottlenecks, client complaints).
- Provide regular reports to senior management on export performance, shipping status, and market expansion initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Minimum [2] years of experience in export handling, international logistics, or supply-chain.
- Good knowledge of export documentation, customs regulations, shipping procedures, Incoterms, and compliance.
- Strong communication skills — written and verbal — especially for international correspondence.
- Good negotiation skills when dealing with carriers, freight forwarders, clients.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office, export-related software, and comfortable using ERP or logistics systems.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and coordinate among departments (sales, logistics, finance).
- Proactive, self-motivated and result-driven mindset.
