Role & responsibilities We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Executive with a background in the hotel industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices and policies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Staffing: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely placement of qualified candidates. Conduct job fairs, campus recruitment, and other initiatives to attract top talent. Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement and satisfaction. Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a timely and effective manner. Conduct regular feedback sessions and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale. Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees at all levels. Work closely with department heads to create and implement career development plans. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement. HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure compliance with labour laws and hotel industry regulations. Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and standards. Performance Management: Implement and oversee the performance appraisal process. Provide support to managers in setting performance goals and conducting performance reviews. Work with employees to create and implement performance improvement plans as needed. Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure smooth administration and resolve employee inquiries. HR Analytics and Reporting: Compile and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports for management on key HR indicators. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as an HR Executive in the hotel industry. In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
