We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our finance team at Layam Group in Adyar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, supporting audits, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain daily books of accounts, general ledgers, and all accounting records. - Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements. - Handle accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank statements. - Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns. - Support month-end and year-end closing activities. - Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports. - Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits. - Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial records. - Liaise with banks and other stakeholders as required. - Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. - Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (M.Com MBA preferred). -4+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles. - Proficient in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software. - Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. - Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. - Experience in payroll processing is an added advantage.
