Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Chef at Grand Hotel D’Europe located in Puducherry. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, creating and updating menus, managing inventory and purchasing, ensuring food quality and consistency, and supervising kitchen staff. Additionally, the Executive Chef will collaborate with management to design and implement innovative culinary programs, maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and provide training and mentorship to junior chefs.

Qualifications

• Culinary expertise in continental and North Indian cuisines
• Experience in menu creation, food presentation, and cost management
• Leadership skills to manage and develop kitchen staff
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
• Formal culinary training or degree in Culinary Arts is preferred
