Executive - Billing & Audit

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Generate and review customer invoices as per contracts and work orders.
2. Coordinate with the operations and sales teams to ensure all billable activities are captured.
3. Maintain billing trackers and follow up on billing inputs and documentation.
4. Ensure invoices are raised accurately and on time with supporting data.
5. Assist in internal audit preparation by maintaining well-documented billing records.
6. Support statutory and internal audits by preparing required reports and reconciling billing-related data.
7. Identify and escalate discrepancies or inconsistencies in invoicing and reporting.
8. Act as a liaison between finance and operations to ensure billing accuracy and alignment.
9. Respond to client/vendor queries related to invoices and coordinate resolutions.
10. Ensure GST and TDS details are properly captured on bills where applicable.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com preferred).
2. 1–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or audit support.
3. Proficient in Excel and accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.).
4. Basic understanding of GST and Indian tax regulations is an advantage.
5. Excellent communication, follow-up, and coordination skills.
6. Eye for detail and ability to work independently with cross-functional teams.

7. Willingness to be available beyond standard working hours when required.
