Job Summary

Accounts Executive


Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

1. Client-Side Accounts Management

  • Handle daily accounting operations at the client location including data entry, invoicing, and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts on client-approved software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks)
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and updated in a timely manner


2. Statutory Compliance Support

  • Prepare and support filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns in coordination with the client
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit readiness of client accounts


3. Reporting & Documentation

  • Generate and share periodic MIS reports, balance sheet summaries, and ledgers as per client requirements
  • Maintain supporting documentation for all accounting entries and client queries


4. Coordination & Communication

  • Act as a key liaison between PlanB’s internal finance team and the client’s management
  • Ensure smooth communication for queries, report submissions, and process clarifications


5. Audit & Month-End Closure Support

  • Assist in month-end closing activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules
  • Support internal or external audits by providing necessary data, clarifications, and backups


6. On-Site Financial Execution

  • Be present at the client’s location as per agreed working hours
  • Ensure all accounting work aligns with client-side processes while adhering to PlanB’s quality standards.


7. Process Adherence & Confidentiality

  • Follow both client and PlanB protocols and maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data
  • Report any discrepancies or concerns to PlanB supervisors proactively


Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting
  • 1–2 years of accounting experience (e-commerce background preferred)
  • Proficiency in extracting reports from softwares like unicommerce, shopify, amazon etc
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Zoho, Advanced Tally and Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial analysis).  
  • Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory norms.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Willingness to work full-time from the client’s office.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented.
