Job Description

As an Event Sales Development Manager at Modern Stage Events, you will play a crucial role in leading and expanding the sales efforts of the company. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, creating persuasive sales proposals, leading a sales team (if applicable), and effectively closing sales deals. You will also be responsible for forecasting sales pipelines, staying informed about industry trends, collaborating with internal teams, and representing the company at industry events. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for various events. - Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored event solutions. - Create compelling sales proposals and presentations to communicate the value proposition of event services. - Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of event sales professionals to achieve sales goals. - Accurately forecast sales pipelines, track activities, and provide progress reports to senior management. - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to refine sales strategies. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client experience and successful event delivery. - Effectively negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet revenue objectives. - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to generate leads. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. - 5+ years of progressive experience in event sales or business development with a track record of exceeding sales targets. - Strong understanding of event planning and management processes. - Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills. - Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite. - Willingness to travel as required. - Strong understanding of the event sales industry.,
