Estimation Engineer – Electrical Location: Hinjewadi Phase 2, Pune Experience: 2 –5 years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline Role Overview We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to support our infrastructure and manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate project estimations, creating BOQs, and coordinating with suppliers and project teams to ensure cost-effective solutions aligned with client requirements. Key Roles & Responsibilities Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimation for electrical infrastructure and turnkey projects. Review technical drawings, specifications , and tender documents to analyze project scope and requirements. Conduct rate analysis , cost forecasting, and prepare commercial bid proposals. Perform vendor sourcing , comparative analysis, and price negotiations to optimize project budgets. Participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings , clarifying scope, resolving technical queries, and supporting tender submissions. Engage in value engineering activities to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality. Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure alignment on estimated resources and timelines. Ensure adherence to ISO standards , company policies, and maintain accurate documentation for audits and client records. Support project planning teams in defining material requirement plans , budgets, and timelines. Analyze and track project costs vs. estimates , reporting on variances and corrective measures. Collaborate on contractual scope review and assist in change order estimation and pricing. Skills & Qualifications Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 2 – 5 years of relevant industry experience. Strong experience in estimation for transformers, control panels, and MEP systems . Expertise in BOQ creation, tendering processes, and cost engineering tools. Strong interpersonal , negotiation , and vendor coordination abilities. Familiarity with infrastructure projects , especially Smart Cities, is a strong advantage.
