Estimation & Billing Engineer

1. Billing Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Fighting) quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements.
• Prepare RA Bills, Final Bills, and subcontractor bills as per project progress.
• Coordinate with the client/consultant for bill verification and approval.
• Ensure all billing is done as per the BOQ, contract conditions, and approved drawings.
• Maintain records of measurements, variations, and extra items.
• Prepare cost analysis and support the finance team in raising invoices.
• Highlight discrepancies in quantities, drawings, or contract documents.
• Handle reconciliation of materials (e.g., pipes, cables, valves, electrical fixtures).

2. Planning Responsibilities

• Prepare the project schedule using MS Project/Primavera based on scope and timelines.
• Develop weekly and monthly progress plans in coordination with site engineers.
• Monitor work progress and update schedules accordingly.
• Identify delays, constraints, and critical path activities, and suggest corrective actions.
• Prepare progress reports (daily/weekly/monthly) for management and clients.
• Coordinate with procurement for material delivery as per project plan.
• Plan manpower, machinery, and resource allocation for timely completion.

3. Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Attend site meetings and present progress and billing updates.
• Maintain proper documentation: drawings, approvals, correspondences, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Support tendering team with quantity estimation for new projects.

4. Technical & Project Support

• Review MEP shop drawings, GFC drawings, and technical specifications.
• Validate site execution with approved drawings and standards.
• Assist in preparing work fronts, method statements, and construction sequences.
• Verify subcontractor work as per quality norms before billing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• MEP: 5 years (Required)
