Job Description

Job Summary:

School ERP Lead


Key Responsibilities:


ERP Implementation & Customization:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of the School ERP system in alignment with institutional needs.
  • Customize ERP modules (admissions, attendance, grading, fees management, staff management, inventory, etc.) based on school requirements.
  • Collaborate with software vendors to customize workflows and modules as needed.


System Integration & Data Management:

  • Oversee integration of ERP with existing IT infrastructure and Ecosystem(Third party /in-house solutions , payment gateways etc ).
  • Ensure data integrity, accurate data migration from legacy systems, and regular data backups.
  • Define and manage data security protocols and user access controls.


User Support & Training:

  • Provide hands-on support to end-users (administrators, teachers, staff, and management).
  • Design and deliver training programs to enable smooth adoption of the ERP system.


Process Optimization & Automation:

  • Analyse existing school administrative processes to identify automation opportunities.
  • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency using ERP capabilities.
  • Monitor KPIs to assess ERP system performance and user adoption.


Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between school leadership, staff, and ERP vendors.
  • Communicate effectively with various departments to understand and implement their needs within the ERP framework.
  • Conduct periodic review meetings with stakeholders to ensure continuous alignment.


Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting ERP-related issues.
  • Has a good Technical Insight and previous technical hands on experience on Full Stack Tech/ Database
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the existing inhouse tech team as well as the tech vendors (wherever need be)
  • Prioritization, Time Management and Timely Delivery Ownership both at Solution and Technical Delivery level


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 12+ years of total experience and 5+ years in ERP implementation/management, preferably in the education sector.
  • Good knowledge of School ERP solutions
  • Hands-on experience in system integration, database management (MySQL, SQL Server), and cloud-based deployments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Preferred:

  • Exposure to mobile ERP solutions and parent/student portals.
