About the Role

We are looking for a full-time Equity Researcher + Writer to create insightful, storytelling-led research content for our finance publication. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into financial statements, decoding market trends, explaining complex ideas simply, and transforming raw data into engaging long-form articles published under our brand.

If you’re someone who can dig through annual reports, track policy changes, and loves understanding how businesses really work — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct deep-dive equity and company research, including business models, financials, competitive landscape, management commentary, and valuation perspectives.
• Break down complex market or policy events into simple, digestible weekly reports.
• Write long-form articles (1,500–2,500 words) using a narrative and conversational tone — not typical finance jargon-heavy reports.
• Track and evaluate market trends, macro events, regulations, and IPO pipelines.
• Create supporting charts, visuals, and infographics based on researched data to enhance storytelling.
• Independently verify sources, facts, and numbers to ensure accuracy and credibility.
• Stay up-to-date with earnings calls, investor presentations, industry reports, and budget/policy updates.
• Deliver each article within a 1–2 day turnaround, depending on scope.
• Participate in research meetings, content reviews, and brainstorming sessions.

What We're Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, commerce, or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in equity research, financial analysis, investing, or markets writing.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, annual reports, and valuation basics.
• Ability to transform research and numbers into clear, compelling narratives.
• Ability to work as an independent researcher — not just a compiler of information.
• Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and ability to simplify complexity.

Bonus Points For

• CFA (any level), NISM certifications, or equity research/compliance experience.
• Prior writing experience in finance (blogs, reports, research notes, newsletters).
• Experience creating simple visual assets to support writing.
