Job Description: EOT Crane & Mechanical Maintenance EngineerCompany: Divine Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd.Location: Surat, GujaratDepartment: MaintenanceExperience: 5+ Years in Heavy Fabrication/Manufacturing Industry

Job Role & Responsibilities

EOT Crane Maintenance:
Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of EOT cranes.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues in cranes.
Conduct periodic load tests and safety inspections as per standards.
Maintain records of maintenance, breakdowns, and repairs.
Mechanical Maintenance:
Oversee the maintenance of machines, including CNC, VMC, cutting, welding, and rolling equipment.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures in plant machinery.
Ensure lubrication, calibration, and alignment of critical equipment.
Breakdown & Troubleshooting:
Respond to urgent maintenance issues to minimize downtime.
Analyze root causes of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with vendors for spare parts and repairs.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and ISO norms.
Conduct routine inspections and audits of equipment.
Train operators on safe usage and handling of EOT cranes.
Inventory & Documentation:
Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts.
Document maintenance activities and prepare reports.
Optimize maintenance costs while ensuring reliability.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of EOT crane mechanisms, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in maintenance within a heavy fabrication or manufacturing setup.
Software Knowledge: Basic understanding of ERP systems for maintenance tracking.
Certifications (Preferred): Lifting Equipment Inspection, Industrial Safety Training.

Reporting & Coordination

Reports to Maintenance Head/Plant Head.
Coordinates with Production, Safety, and Purchase departments.
