Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers specializing in MERN, PHP, and Python.
• Define performance goals, conduct reviews, and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity.
• Build a strong engineering culture that promotes knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Support career development and training initiatives for team members.
  

Technical Oversight & Delivery

• Provide architectural guidance and ensure scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
• Review designs, code, and technical documentation to maintain best practices.
• Oversee full-stack development, including front-end, back-end, and database management.
• Ensure smooth integration of APIs, third-party services, and cloud infrastructure.
• Partner with DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment automation.
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure seamless and user-friendly product design.
• Align technical initiatives with business priorities, ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, facilitating smooth communication.
  

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and frameworks relevant to MERN, PHP, and Python ecosystems.
• Implement best practices in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and system design.
• Optimize workflows, improve system performance, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Foster adoption of agile practices, code quality improvements, and automation.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in a managerial role.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong hands-on experience with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Proficiency in PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of databases (SQL & NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Strong problem-solving, architectural design, and debugging skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
