Engineering Manager

Role Description

Based in our Gurugram office, you will own the roadmap and delivery of:

• Web Suite

  – Itinerary Co-Pilot, Operations Portal, Accounts Portal, and the databases behind booking, payment and customer data.

• Mobile App

  – A Flutter app that lets travellers plan, book and manage trips; you will bring all development in-house.

You will lead 6–8 full-stack, mobile, and backend engineers, setting clear timelines, removing blockers and ensuring features ship on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end delivery – Architect, plan and launch features across web, mobile and backend services—on time and to quality.
• Technical oversight – Guide React, Node.js, Flutter/Dart and server-side development through design reviews, code reviews and mentoring.
• Track work & run detailed team reviews – keep task lists up to date and hold twice-weekly deep-dive meetings to check progress, reset priorities, and flag risks early.
• Review code & uphold quality – give clear feedback on pull requests and maintain high standards.
• Release & bug management – manage rollouts, track issues, and drive fast, clean fixes.
• User-focused improvements – gather feedback from sales and ops teams and turn insights into product upgrades.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years building and shipping web & mobile products, including 2–3 years leading engineers as an EM, Tech Lead or similar.
• Proven full-stack expertise with React, MERN, MEAN, Node.js, and strong SQL/NoSQL skills.
• Mobile experience: led the development of a Flutter (or native iOS/Android) app end-to-end and shipped it to Google Play or the App Store.
• Experience running services on AWS, GCP or Azure with solid DevOps fundamentals.
• Experience with Python & Fast API
• Strong product thinking and analytical ability; able to balance user value, tech debt, and speed.
• Startup mindset – able to move fast, wear many hats, and push hard to meet release goals.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication across engineering and business teams.
• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
