Engineer (Mechanical)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Electrical Manufacturing Company. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical components, tools, fixtures, and systems that support the manufacturing and assembly of electrical and electronic products. The role also involves process improvement, machine maintenance, and ensuring smooth integration between mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize mechanical parts, enclosures, and fixtures for electrical and electronic products.
• Collaborate with the electrical and production teams to ensure mechanical components align with electrical design requirements.
• Prepare and review CAD drawings, 3D models, and engineering documentation.
• Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide technical support for assembly line equipment, jigs, and tooling.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical issues in production.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety guidelines, and quality systems.
• Coordinate with vendors for sourcing mechanical parts and materials.
• Support new product development (NPD) and assist in prototyping.
• Perform regular maintenance of machines and ensure minimum downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• 0–3 years (for fresher/entry-level) or 3–7 years (for experienced) in a manufacturing setup, preferably electrical/electronics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and materials.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
• Understanding of GD&T, sheet metal design, and plastic components.
• Familiarity with electrical product manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Pay: ₹249,471.03 - ₹657,000.08 per year
