Engineer Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of backend, frontend, and full-stack engineers

• Drive execution of healthcare-focused projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and QA to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Guide the team in designing, developing, and deploying backend services and front-end applications

• Own system architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability

• Establish coding standards, best practices, and CI/CD processes across teams

• Monitor system performance and ensure proactive improvements (APM, observability, incident response)

• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and support career growth of team members

• Manage resource planning, hiring, and onboarding to build a high-performing engineering team

• Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, data privacy/security)

Technical Skills:

• Backend: Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Express.js / Fastify

• Frontend: React.js, Redux Toolkit, CSS/SCSS, Accessibility standards

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹130,000.00 - ₹190,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
