Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with clinical and non-clinical departments to collect functional and technical requirements.
  • Document workflows and identify gaps between existing processes and EMR capabilities.
  • Create requirement specifications and provide them to the software development agency.
  • Schedule and participate in software agency meetings, requirement walkthroughs, and feedback.
  • Track communication and share timely updates with stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between the hospital’s IT, clinical and non-clinical team, and the EMR vendor.
  • Participate in user interface (UI) review and module testing to ensure alignment with hospital processes.
  • Coordinate with departments for master data collection and form design (e.g., OPD, IPD, pharmacy templates).
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test cases and helping users in test execution.
  • Log issues, bugs, and enhancement requests from UAT and follow up with the software partner.
  • Ensure data integrity and verify compliance with clinical documentation standards.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions for end users across departments (Doctors, Nurses, Admin, etc.).
  • Provide one-on-one support for critical departments during the go-live phase.
  • Maintain a go-live checklist for each department.
  • Monitor module-wise activation and ensure real-time issue resolution.
  • Maintain communication with implementation teams and escalate unresolved problems.
  • Track system performance, downtime, and user adoption.
  • Collect feedback for continuous improvement and enhancement requests.
  • Maintain documentation for EMR audit, governance, compliance, and review purposes.
  • Support MIS and management reporting through EMR data extraction.


Skill and Qualification:

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and software implementation lifecycle (Agile/Waterfall).
  • Experience in managing or supporting EMR/HMS software.
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases, APIs, system integration, and data migration.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and training skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering.
  • Experience with specific software tools or systems relevant to the healthcare (e.g., HIMS & EMR systems, HRMS systems, Inventory system etc.)


Experience:

  • 8+ years in healthcare domain(Preference)
