About the Role

You will be working in R&D, designing, and testing electronic circuits for use in Kasava’s products for vehicles.

This role has a strong focus on power supply design, battery backup systems, high-speed digital interfaces, and analogue circuits for camera and vision products.

·       Design of power electronics, analogue, and high-speed digital circuits.

·       PCB design and layout (preferably with Altium), including consideration for EMC, signal integrity, and thermal performance.

·       Development of embedded C code for microcontrollers to manage hardware functions.

·       Testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of electronic boards using scopes, logic analysers, and other lab equipment.

·       Provide technical support to Production and Repairs.

·       Hitting targets the team needs to achieve its goals.

·       Play a large role in product lifecycle, contributing to design, development & delivery.

·       Preparing functional and technical specification documents.

·       Learning from more experienced colleagues.

About You

·       BSc/MSc in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or equivalent experience.

·       Strong background in power electronics (DC/DC converters, power management), analogue design, and high-speed digital hardware (camera interfaces, DDR, USB, etc.).

·       Practical experience with oscilloscopes, logic analysers, multi-meters, and soldering (SMT and through-hole). Experience designing and testing Printed Circuit Boards (ideally in Altium).

·       Competence in embedded C programming for 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers.

·       Ability to test, validate, and troubleshoot designs under real-world conditions.
