Job Description

As an ideal candidate for the role, you should possess the following functional skills and competencies: - Strong knowledge of EDI standards, including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, and AS2. - Proficiency in working with EDI mapping and translation tools, such as Sterling Integrator 5.2.6 or higher, or similar software. - Ability to develop and maintain EDI maps, translation rules, and processes to enable the smooth exchange of electronic data with external trading partners. - Hands-on experience with protocols like AS2, SFTP, FTP, OFTP2, VAN, and Mailbox. - Solid grasp of business processes and workflows, especially in supply chain, logistics, or retail sectors. - Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite and their integration with EDI processes. - Capability to monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions, promptly resolving any errors or discrepancies to maintain seamless information flow. - Proficient in creating and managing documentation related to EDI processes, including mapping specifications, data interchange agreements, and trading partner profiles. - Experience in coordinating with external trading partners for onboarding, managing EDI testing, and resolving data exchange issues. - Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring compliance with EDI protocols and standards. - Support in managing EDI projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and enhancements, to ensure successful completion within defined timelines and budgets.
