Business Development Manager – Electrical (Wires & Cables, Switch Gears, Motors, Lighting, Solar)

Job Overview:
We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in our Electrical Wires & Cables trading business. The candidate should have a strong technical foundation, preferably a BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, along with proven expertise in business development and sales within the electrical industry. This role requires strategic thinking, client relationship building, and the ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
-Identify potential clients and projects through research, networking, and industry connections.
-Qualify leads and convert them into long-term business opportunities.
2. Client Relationship Management
-Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships.
-Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and commercial negotiations.
3. Strategy & Market Research
-Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
-Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company goals.
4. Sales & Revenue Growth
-Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
-Prepare and deliver technical-commercial proposals and presentations.
-Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals.
5. Collaboration & Reporting
-Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to drive sales success.
-Prepare accurate reports of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline updates using CRM tools.
Qualifications & Skills;
-Education: BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
-Experience: 4–8 years in sales/business development; Electrical Wires & Cables industry experience preferred.
-Strong technical understanding of electrical products and their applications.
-Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
-Strategic thinker with strong market knowledge.
-Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
