Profile - Electrical Engineer

Qualification - B.Tech, Diploma - electrical

Experience - Min. 2+ yrs as a electrical engineer with complete knowledge of electrical equipment like - HT Panel , LT Panel , Solar Panel , Switchgear etc....

1. Design & Planning**

• Design solar PV electrical systems including string sizing, inverter selection, cable sizing, and protection devices.

• Prepare single line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and load flow studies.

• Conduct feasibility studies, energy yield assessments, and grid impact analysis.

• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international electrical standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, IS codes, etc.).

#### **2. Project Execution**

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of solar PV systems.

• Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams for structural and mounting integration.

• Oversee cable routing, earthing, lightning protection, and transformer installation.

• Ensure proper synchronization with the utility grid and manage net metering requirements.

#### **3. Operations & Maintenance (O\&M)**

• Monitor performance of solar systems through SCADA and energy monitoring tools.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues (inverters, transformers, protection systems, cabling).

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for optimal performance.

• Analyze energy generation reports and suggest improvements.

#### **4. Safety & Compliance**

• Implement electrical safety standards and ensure safe working practices.

• Perform risk assessments and ensure protection against fire, shock, and system faults.

• Ensure compliance with renewable energy regulations and utility company requirements.

#### **5. Documentation & Reporting**

• Prepare technical reports, as-built drawings, and operation manuals.

• Support procurement by preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and technical specifications for electrical components.

• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and government authorities for approvals.

#### **6. Innovation & Optimization**

• Evaluate and integrate new technologies like hybrid systems, energy storage (batteries), and smart grid solutions.

• Optimize system efficiency and reduce energy losses.

• Work on cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and safety.
