Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Automation Engineer – Electrical MaintenanceJob Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer specialized in Electrical Maintenance to support, maintain, and improve automated systems, machinery, and electrical infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting automation equipment, ensuring minimum downtime, and implementing preventive maintenance to achieve production efficiency and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical maintenance of automated machines, PLCs, drives, sensors, control panels, and power systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical and automation systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFDs, and servo systems.
• Support machine installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical circuits and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies.
• Analyze root causes of recurring issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation of electrical schematics, maintenance logs, and equipment history.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance teams.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.), HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Expertise in electrical troubleshooting (control panels, motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, and MCCs).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings & wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with industrial automation standards and safety protocols.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork ability.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,300.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
