Job Title: Electrical Design Trainee Location: Atlas Transformers India Limited (Por) Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Design Trainee to join our engineering team. As a trainee, you will assist in the design, development, and documentation of electrical systems for various projects under the guidance of senior engineers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in electrical design, drafting, and project coordination. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and low voltage systems. Use CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to prepare electrical drawings and schematics. Perform basic electrical calculations (e.g., load calculations, voltage drop). Assist in creating and reviewing Bill of Materials (BOM), wiring diagrams, and panel layouts. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, and software engineers. Support the preparation of technical documentation and reports. Participate in site visits and inspections, as required. Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Basic understanding of electrical principles and circuit design. Familiarity with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or EPLAN. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Eagerness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications (optional): Internship or project experience in electrical design or related field. Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC). Exposure to simulation software like MATLAB/Simulink or ETAP. Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
