This isn’t a sit-back-and-watch role. You’ll be the face, the voice, and sometimes even the spark that keeps our admissions buzzing. Along with guiding students, you’ll be on calls, doing a bit of outreach, and keeping the whole cycle running.

Role Description:

This is an on-site role for a Career Counsellor at our Dibrugarh location.

This role also includes tele-calling, outreach, and coordination duties to drive admissions growth along with guiding students, building trust with parents, and ensuring walk-ins convert into enrollments.

Who we are looking for (Yes YOU):

• 2–3 years of experience

  in career counselling, admissions, education sales, or youth outreach

  .

• Prior experience in

  skill development, education institutes, or training centers

  preferred

  .

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Confident in handling student and parent queries both in-person and over calls

• Organized, student-friendly, detail-oriented, empathetic, and approachable

• Strong communication in

  English, Assamese, and Hindi

  .

  Any additional language is a bonus

• Professional, disciplined, and student-friendly teaching style

• Result-oriented, with the ability to achieve monthly enrollment targets

• Well-groomed, punctual, dedicated, and serious about career growth

• Reliable, focused, and disciplined in approach

The Role, aka Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel walk-in students and parents, guiding them to the right career path

• Travel a little, smile a lot, and always keep things moving

• Convert inquiries into admissions through structured follow-ups and trust-based communication

• Handle telephonic inquiries, follow up with leads, and schedule counselling sessions

• Maintain accurate lead and follow-up records using Excel or CRM tools

• Visit colleges/institutes occasionally to support outreach and placement activities

• Willingness to travel

• Provide timely reports on inquiries, conversions, and outreach performance to management

• Support mobilizers in ensuring maximum student footfall for workshops and events

• Represent BILEx professionally in workshops, college visits, and industry interactions
