Job Opening: Area Sales Manager EdTech Locations: Mumbai & Pune (On-Site / Field-Based) Industry: EdTech / Education Technology Experience Required: Minimum 7 Years in EdTech Sales Employment Type: Full-Time Function: B2B/B2C Sales, Business Development Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Area Sales Manager to lead sales efforts across Mumbai and Pune . The ideal candidate must have at least 7 years of experience in EdTech sales , a proven track record in driving growth, and strong leadership and client relationship management skills. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets in assigned regions. Identify and onboard new institutional and individual clients. Manage B2B/B2C EdTech sales across schools, colleges, coaching centers, or directly to learners. Build and lead a high-performing local sales team. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Ensure timely reporting of sales performance and regional updates to senior management. Requirements: Minimum 7 years of experience in sales within the EdTech industry. Proven success in territory management and meeting/exceeding sales targets. Strong local network in the education sector in Mumbai and/or Pune . Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Preferred: Experience in both B2B and B2C sales in the education sector. Prior leadership or regional manager experience. Familiarity with CRM and sales reporting tools.
