Job Title: Editorial Manager – Publications


Location: Delhi/ Bangalore


The Editorial Manager

publications for the BlueKraft Fellowship Program. This role involves managing the editorial

team, coordinating with fellows and knowledge partners, and ensuring that all content aligns with

the fellowship's mission and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

editorial management, excellent writing and editing skills, and a passion for education and

community development.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Editorial Leadership:

o Develop and implement the editorial vision and strategy for the Publications and

Knowledge Center.

o Supervise the editorial team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-

quality content production.

2. Content Development and Management:

o Oversee the creation and editing of various publications, including books, reports,

case studies, policy papers, and articles.

o Collaborate with authors, writers and knowledge partners to gather insights,

stories, and research findings for publication, ensuring that all content is accurate

and impactful.

3. Project Coordination:

o Manage the editorial calendar, ensuring timely delivery of all publications and

adherence to deadlines.

o Coordinate with the marketing team to promote publications effectively and

maximize their reach.

4. Quality Assurance:

o Review and edit all content for clarity, coherence, and adherence to the

organization’s style guide.

o Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all publications

meet the highest standards.

5. Stakeholder Engagement:

o Work closely with partners, authors, writers, and external contributors to facilitate

the flow of information and ideas.


6. Research and Analysis:

o Conduct research to identify trends and best practices in publications and

knowledge dissemination.

o Analyze feedback from readers and stakeholders to continuously improve

publication quality and relevance.


7. Reporting and Metrics:

o Prepare regular reports on editorial activities, publication outputs, and impact

metrics for the center’s leadership.

o Present findings and recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of the

Publications and Knowledge Center.


Qualifications:

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.

A Master’s degree is preferred.

 Experience:

o Minimum of 6 years of experience in editorial management, content development,

or publishing.


 Skills:

o Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

o Strong organizational and project management abilities.

o Proficiency in content management systems and publishing software.

o Familiarity with digital marketing and social media strategies.

o Passionate about education, research, and community development.

o Creative thinker with a commitment to producing high-quality content.

o Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team

environment.
