Editorial Manager

An Editorial Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire editorial process from idea generation to publication, ensuring that all content aligns with the organization’s standards, goals, and audience expectations.

• Key responsibilities include: Managing content production, editing articles, blog posts, social media updates, press releases, and newsletters, and supervising a team of writers and editors.
• They coordinate with various departments to ensure timely publication and maintain editorial quality and consistency.
• Additional duties involve developing and executing editorial strategies, maintaining editorial standards and guidelines, researching editorial stories, managing proofreading processes, and ensuring compliance with copyright permissions.
• They also support marketing and sales efforts by creating promotional content and lead planning and promoting products through editorial channels.
• Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills are essential, as well as the ability to innovate editorial methodologies and audit the quality and effectiveness of content.
