Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented, process-driven Amazon E-commerce Manager to lead and optimize our operations on Amazon. This role is heavily focused on the backend—inventory management, order fulfillment, performance metrics, catalog hygiene, and coordination with Amazon and internal teams. Youll be at the helm of ensuring Merlin Brands’ Amazon operations run like a well-oiled machine.Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Fulfillment

Manage inventory health, reconcile stock levels, and ensure availability across FBA/FBM.Coordinate regular shipments to FBA and track inwarding issues.Monitor and reduce OOS (Out of Stock) rates and excess inventory.

Account & Operations Management

Ensure compliance with Amazon’s operational metrics (Late Dispatch Rate, Cancellation Rate, etc.).Raise and resolve tickets with Seller Support for listing, payments, or logistics issues.Monitor account health, address performance flags, and maintain A+ operational ratings.

Catalog & Listing Hygiene

Ensure listing accuracy — titles, bullets, images, backend keywords.Coordinate with content/design teams for A+ pages, infographics, and storefront updates.Monitor Buy Box eligibility, suppressions, and listing errors.

Logistics & Returns

Track return trends and coordinate with Amazon for reimbursements or claims.Collaborate with 3PLs and warehouse teams to streamline dispatches.

Reporting & Analysis

Weekly and monthly reporting on sales, operations KPIs, stock movement, and chargebacks.Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements.

Cross-functional Coordination

Work closely with supply chain, finance, customer service, and marketing teams for smooth e-commerce execution.Align operational plans with promotional calendars and marketing activities.

Requirements

3–5 years of hands-on experience managing Amazon operations for a D2C or consumer brand.Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central, FBA/FBM models, and operational metrics.Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for inventory and performance tracking.Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process adherence.Proven track record of improving operations KPIs on Amazon.Excellent communication and coordination skills.
