The Role The Zonal Coordinator, TA, will report to the State Manager, Safe Water Operations, and will be required to work in close coordination with various team members from the State and Field teams. The ZC, TA will be responsible for leading and training a team of Field and District Coordinators in charge of providing technical support to government officials on the implementation of our Safe Water program. The ZC, TA will oversee the installation, operation, and coordination of their designated water treatment sites, as well as community engagement activities around them, ensuring smooth and efficient stakeholder engagement. The ZC, TA will also be responsible for maintaining robust, updated, and high-quality internal information management systems to provide accurate and timely program recommendations. Responsibilities Field Team Coordination and Monitoring (40%) Coordinate a team of Field and District Coordinators responsible for government advocacy and capacity building, direct coordination of the different stakeholders involved, and communication of progress and challenges to leadership Implement systems that enable Field and District Coordinators to perform their government advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and project implementation duties Train Field and Districts Coordinators on capacity building around our Safe Water program so they can train their respective government officials at the district and subdistrict levels Carry out field visits to intervention locations to provide program and technical support as needed Data Management and Analysis (40%) Serve as the primary user of our program's internal information management systems to keep leadership informed about progress and challenges in their respective geographic area Analyze data collected from the Field to inform decision-making and support the development and review of program activities on at least a weekly basis to identify and correct performance issues Collaboratively work with the State Manager, Safe Water Operations, to develop and manage program work plans and timelines to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables for internal and external purposes Stakeholder Engagement (20%) Ensure Field and District Coordinators are coordinating appropriately with external stakeholders to meet activity targets as per timelines and troubleshoot when escalation is necessary Engage with vendors and other stakeholders in a limited capacity if required and escalate to State teams if deemed necessary Requirements Essential Minimum 8+ years of experience working with national/international organizations, particularly on program delivery and technical assistance Experience with proven increasing responsibilities in project management, program operations, and scaling strategies. Graduate degrees in those domains are preferred Strong ability to use internal information management systems for analytical, decision-making, and monitoring purposes Experience handling geographically dispersed teams and holding them accountable to target timelines. Preference for strong knowledge of public sector (preferably Water) systems, structures, and programs Experience conducting Training of Trainers (ToT) modules to build the capacities of staff in charge of providing technical assistance to government officials Experience overseeing complex program operations Strong communication skills in English and Telugu Willingness to travel at least 30% of the time Disclaimer: The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list, and additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time.
