The opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Global E3 Development Project Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our critical E3 tool required across our global operations. This role will be instrumental in optimizing our engineering design processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring data consistency across the world. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of engineering design software, particularly E3.series, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex, international software development projects from conception to deployment. You will be responsible for defining project scope, managing resources, mitigating risks, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions and enhances engineering productivity.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Possess a strong understanding of E3 series software capabilities, functionalities, and best practices.
- E3 components and library creation adhering to IEC and ANSI standards
- Act as the primary point of contact for all E3 tool development initiatives across global engineering, IT, and other relevant departments.
- Work with technical and IT teams to define tool architectural requirements, feature improvement and development roadmaps for E3 tool enhancements and integrations.
- Lead the full lifecycle of E3 tool development projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with global engineering teams and IT stakeholders.
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and adherence to global engineering standards within the E3 environment.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and ensure the developed tools meet their needs.
- Manage relationships with E3 series vendors and other third-party solution providers, ensuring effective collaboration and support.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices among global E3 users and development teams.

- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical design, in-depth knowledge of electrical components used in control panels including proficiency with Zuken E3 cable software and other CAD tools.
- 5+ years of knowledge on E3 library creation and 3+ years of exclusive knowledge on E3 project management and tool development
- Candidate must have strong knowledge on IEC and IEEE standards related to control drawings
- Strong knowledge in Zuken E3 series (schematic, panel, cable etc) and other similar electrical CAD tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of E3 database / library creation, concepts and integrations.
- Understanding of PLM/PDM systems and their integration with design tools.
- Project management experience, being familiar with various methodologies and project management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with strong presentation, leadership abilities.
