JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role Summary

To own, scale, and profitably grow the organizations eCommerce business end-to-end including strategy, revenue, customer experience, technology, marketing, and operations while building a high-performance team and aligning eCommerce with overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities

1.

  • Define and execute the overall eCommerce strategy aligned with company revenue and growth targets.
  • Own P&L for online business including revenue, margins, CAC, and profitability.
  • Drive long-term digital transformation and omnichannel integration.
  • Identify new business models, marketplaces, D2C opportunities, and growth levers.

2.

  • Lead selection, implementation, and optimization of eCommerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Pepperfry, Wooden Street, Urban Ladder, Jiomart, etc.)
  • Work closely with cross departments for increasing the performance & scalability.
  • Ensure seamless integrations with CRM and logistics.
  • Worked with new age Quick Commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart) is an added advantage.

3.

  • Oversee performance marketing campaigns, direction to improve ROI & ACOS.
  • Drive customer acquisition & retention.
  • Use data, analytics, and experimentation to optimize conversion rates and funnels.

4.

  • Own end-to-end order fulfilment, logistics, returns, and customer support.
  • Optimize inventory planning, demand forecasting, and delivery SLAs.
  • Ensure high standards of customer experience and service excellence.

5.

  • Establish strong data-driven decision-making culture.
  • Track and improve KPIs such as conversion rate, AOV, CAC, ROAS, churn, and NPS.
  • Present insights and performance updates to leadership and board.

6.

  • Category teams (Amazon & Flipkart) management & Relationship building.
  • Build, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams (marketing, tech, ops, analytics).
  • Manage agencies, vendors, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams.

Key Skills Required

Technical Skills

  • Proven leadership in scaling brands in large eCommerce businesses.
  • Strong P&L ownership experience.
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing, platforms, and analytics.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder and people management skills.

Educational Qualification

  • Post-Graduation (MBA / PGDM / equivalent) Mandatory
  • Graduation in Business Management, or related field preferred
