Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile professional to join our team as a Shopify Developer and Social Media Marketing Professional. This dual role requires a strong understanding of web development, particularly within the Shopify ecosystem, combined with expertise in developing and executing compelling social media strategies. The ideal candidate will be adept at both technical implementation and creative marketing, contributing significantly to our online presence and e-commerce success.


Responsibilities:


Shopify Development:


  • Web Application Development: Develop, integrate, and maintain web applications and APIs, with a strong focus on Shopify themes, apps, and custom functionalities.
  • Automation & Workflows: Implement automations and workflows within the Shopify platform to enhance user experience and streamline operational efficiency.
  • Technical Project Management: Plan and manage technical projects related to Shopify, including system updates, migrations, and upgrades.
  • Troubleshooting & Improvement: Coordinate regular testing of products, address faults, and provide evaluations to improve Shopify store performance and user experience.
  • Security & Policy: Conduct routine evaluations of network and data security within the e-commerce environment and contribute to the organization's IT policy and best practice manuals.
  • Goal Translation: Understand business goals and translate them into technical requirements and project plans for Shopify implementations.


Social Media Marketing:


  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive social media marketing strategies that align with organizational business goals.
  • Content Creation & Management: Publish and share engaging content, coordinating with content writers, editors, and graphic designers to ensure timely creation and posting.
  • Campaign Management: Manage and execute campaigns across various digital channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, and other relevant platforms.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct regular analytics using Google Analytics, Facebook/Instagram Insights, and third-party tools like SEMrush to measure and report on campaign performance, providing feedback for optimization.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain consistency in brand guidelines across websites, social media, and marketing events, monitoring brand hygiene across all platforms.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunities and improve campaign performance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce engaging content and optimize user experience.
  • Emerging Trends: Stay up-to-date with emerging digital marketing trends and technologies.


Required Skills & Experience:


  • Bachelor's in Computer Applications or a related field.
  • Proven experience in web application development and API integration.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, with a focus on Shopify (or transferable skills from similar platforms).
  • Demonstrated expertise in Social Media Marketing, including strategy development, content management, and paid advertising (Facebook and Instagram Ads, Google Adwords).
  • Proficiency in Keyword Research, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with WordPress and low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Ability to develop and integrate chatbots (e.g., Dialogflow, WATI, WOTNOT) is a plus.
  • Experience with database development (MongoDB, SQLite, PostgreSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and meet daily targets in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Certifications in Advanced Excel, Facebook Marketing, YouTube Marketing, and Google Ads Marketing is a Plus.
  • Experience leading a small team.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence technology strategies and decisions.
  • A portfolio showcasing successful Shopify projects and social media campaigns.
