E-Commerce Coordinator

An E-commerce Executive’s primary responsibility is to manage and optimise a company’s online sales presence — whether via the company website or third-party marketplaces — to drive sales, ensure smooth operations, and deliver a good customer experience. Manage and maintain online product listings — adding/updating product details, pricing, stock/inventory, product images and descriptions on e-commerce platforms and marketplaces (e.g. Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.). Handle order processing, stock control, returns, and replenishment. Oversee the end-to-end online sales cycle — from listing to dispatch, ensuring timely order fulfilment and coordination with logistics/warehouse teams. Develop and execute digital marketing initiatives and promotions to increase traffic, visibility, and sales (e.g. special offers, discounts, seasonal campaigns) on various marketplaces / the online store. Monitor, analyse, and report on online sales performance — track metrics like sales numbers, returns, conversion rates, customer feedback, product performance etc. Use insights to recommend improvements. Collaborate with other teams/departments — e.g. marketing/content, design/photography (for product images), logistics or warehouse, customer support — to ensure consistent product data and good user experience. Stay updated with platform policies, industry trends (market demand, competitor activity), and best practices for e-commerce to optimize operations and stay competitive. Good understanding of e-commerce platforms / marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.), including listing management, inventory, order fulfilment. Basic to intermediate digital marketing knowhow — SEO/SEM, promotions, product descriptions, content updates. Strong analytical skills — ability to interpret sales data, track performance, generate reports, make data-driven recommendations. Good communication and coordination skills — must collaborate across teams (logistics, marketing, customer support, etc.). Attention to detail and accuracy — for product uploads, stock/ inventory management, pricing updates, order processing etc.
