Role Overview:

E-Bidding/Tender Consultant


Key Responsibilities:


Tender Identification & Research

  • Monitor Government e-Marketplace (GeM), PSU procurement portals, and e-tender platforms for relevant opportunities in batteries, energy storage, and renewable solutions
  • Identify institutional sales opportunities in government and semi-government sectors
  • Analyze competitor activity, eligibility requirements, and industry pricing trends

Tender Preparation & Submission

  • Prepare and submit technical and financial bids for government and PSU tenders
  • Ensure compliance with all tender specifications, eligibility, and documentation requirements
  • Manage end-to-end participation in e-tenders and GeM bids

Government & Institutional Sales

  • Develop business opportunities with government bodies, PSUs, and institutional clients
  • Build relationships with procurement officials, consultants, and government stakeholders
  • Support negotiations and post-bid clarifications to secure contracts

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain detailed records of tenders, submissions, and outcomes
  • Ensure alignment with government procurement rules, PSU tender guidelines, and GeM processes
  • Standardize bid documentation, templates, and compliance checklists

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track win/loss ratios and analyze reasons for bid outcomes
  • Provide management with reports on GeM tenders, PSU contracts, and government business pipeline


Requirements:

  • 8+ years of proven experience in government business development, e-bidding, and tender management
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling GeM portal tenders, PSU procurement processes, and institutional sales
  • Strong understanding of government procurement policies, compliance requirements, and bid evaluation criteria
  • Proven track record of successfully managing the end-to-end bidding lifecycle from opportunity identification to submission, negotiation, and contract closure
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with procurement officials and government clients
