Dy Mgr. Mgr IT Infra

Role Overview:
The Deputy Manager / Manager IT Infrastructure & Operations will beresponsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations acrosscorporate and plant locations. The role covers end-to-end management of ITinfrastructure, server administration, networks, security, and IT assets, whilecoordinating with unit IT teams to drive operational excellence, securitycompliance, and continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Operations & Support
• Coordinate with unit IT staff to ensure seamless IT operations and support across offices and plants.
• Ensure timely resolution of all IT-related issues (excluding ERP) in line with defined SLAs.
• Server, Network & Infrastructure Management
• Manage physical and virtual servers, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Oversee regular backups (manual & automated) and maintain disaster recovery readiness.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN/other networks for optimal uptime and performance.
• IT Security, Audit & Compliance
• Implement and enforce IT security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Conduct regular IT security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk reviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance policies, statutory regulations, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, IT Act).
• Collaborate with audit teams and provide evidence/documentation for IT-related compliance requirements.
• IT Asset & Lifecycle Management
• Manage IT hardware, software, and network assets including AMC, licensing, and maintenance renewals.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and maintain accurate asset records.
• Procurement & Technical Specifications
• Prepare and provide technical specifications for IT hardware, software, and infrastructure purchases.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, AMC support, and license management.
• Improvement Initiatives & Projects
• Drive implementation of IT infrastructure and security improvement initiatives in plants and corporate offices.
• Support adoption of new technologies and automation solutions for improved efficiency and security.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in IT infrastructure management (servers, networks, storage, backup, security).
• Hands-on experience with IT security controls, audits, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage IT operations in a multi-location setup.
• Experience in IT asset management, vendor coordination, and contract management.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
• Effective communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance hands-on technical work with managerial responsibilities.

General:

Age -30 - 35 years.

Candidates should not be frequent job changers.
