Masters degree in management /engineering will be preferred Experience: Essential: 8-10years of experience in aluminium melting operations and production planning. Desirable: Strongknowledge of furnace operations, metal chemistry, and PPC tools. Job Profile: We are looking for a dynamic andexperienced Operations and PPC Manager to lead the hot aluminium meltingoperations and oversee production planning and control. This role isresponsible for ensuring efficient furnace operations, optimal resource utilization, and timely delivery of production targets while maintaining safety and qualitystandards. Key Responsibilities: Operations Management: Supervise and manage dailyaluminium melting operations. Ensure furnace efficiency, temperature control, and metal purity. Coordinate with maintenanceteams for equipment downtime reduction. Implement and monitor SOPsfor melting processes. Production Planning & Control (PPC): Develop and executeproduction schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels. Monitor Operations andfinished goods to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with procurementand stores for raw material availability. Track production KPIs andgenerate daily/weekly/monthly reports. Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols andensure compliance with environmental regulations. Conduct safety drills andtraining for shop floor personnel. Maintain documentation foraudits and certifications (ISO 9001 :2015). Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA/QC teamsto maintain product quality standards. Analyze process deviationsand implement corrective actions. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor meltingteams. Conduct performance reviewsand skill development programs. Continuous Improvement: Drive lean manufacturinginitiatives and process optimization. Identify cost-savingopportunities and implement efficiency improvements.
