Role Summary:

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Manager / Domain Evangelist who will lead solution evangelism, support technical proposal development, and business support activities for PI System implementation, advanced data analytics, and OT-IT integration projects across SLDCs, Gencos, and Transcos and Water utilities. The candidate will be a subject matter expert (SME) supporting solution engineering efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development Support

• Act as a domain expert in client meetings and strategic discussions.
• Support the sales team in opportunity qualification and pursuit planning.
• Understand client pain points and align offerings with business outcomes.
• Present Ceinsys' value proposition and use case demonstrations aligned with power utility functions.

2. Pre-Sales Ownership

• Prepare solution architectures, deployment models, BoQs, and effort estimations.
• Build winning presentations, customer-specific PoCs, and detailed scope documents.

3. Technical Evangelism and Solutioning

• Evangelize the adoption of Aveva PI System, real-time data platforms, and analytics solutions across energy value chain (Water utilities, Generation, Transmission, SLDC, Distribution Companies).
• Define end-to-end architecture for OT-IT integration, historian systems, data modeling, and visualization dashboards (e.g., PI Vision, Power BI).
• Design PoCs for KPIs, predictive analytics, alarm/event management, and process insights.

4. Collaboration & Enablement

• Work closely with internal stakeholders: delivery, R&D, partnerships, and OEMs.
• Interface with technology partners (e.g., AVEVA) for solution alignment.
• Help build capability decks, case studies, and reusable assets.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Computer Science / Power Systems/IT

• Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or domain roles in the energy sector.
• Must have hands-on exposure to

  Aveva PI System or similar historian/data platforms

  .

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of

  power system operations – especially SsLDC, EMS, DCS, SCADA, and control centers.

• Working knowledge of

  PI System components (PI AF, PI Vision, PI Interfaces, PI DataLink, PI Server).

• Familiarity with real-time data integration, sensor telemetry, and asset modeling.
• Excellent client interaction, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Grafana).
• Understanding of IEC protocols (61850, 104), IOT based protocols, OPC UA/DA, and integration standards is preferred.

Preferred Industry Exposure:

• System Integrators, Utility IT/OT Consulting firms.
