Job Description

As a Distribution Sales Specialist at Castrol in Chennai, you will be responsible for driving volume, turnover, and overdue by acquiring and retaining industrial customers through the indirect channel. Your role will also involve ensuring profitable revenue growth in the designated territory, handling a set of distributors, and managing their financial health for business success. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver the annual territory plan, including volume, turnover, overdue, customer retention, and acquisition for each distributor in the territory. - Drive prospecting strategy for the territory and distributors, including data gathering, competitor and market knowledge, customer management, and tender/offer. - Conduct distributor business reviews, monitor distributor sales representatives, and ensure talent management processes. - Establish relationships with critical customers, handle customer business reviews, and develop distributor mid-term business plans. - Support the organization in developing appropriate strategies and offers by providing competitor information, market trends, and industry developments. - Drive standardization of sales offers and ensure compliance with company values, behaviors, and regulations. Qualifications Required: - Minimum Graduate in Engineering with a preferred business degree. - 10+ years of experience in handling B2B customers and B2B distributor management, with a good understanding of the industrial sectors. - Skills and Proficiencies: - Customer relationship management - Sales analysis - Territory management - Ability to lead and empower teams - Ability to implement company offers with distributor partners Additional Company Details: Castrol is a global leader in lubricants and part of the bp Group, one of the world's largest energy companies.
